Fresno, CA (February 17, 2017) – Wanger Jones Helsley PC attorney Kurt F. Vote successfully defended his heavy equipment dealer client in a breach of contract lawsuit.
In the case, the Plaintiff claimed that the equipment dealer client had wrongfully withheld a portion of the Plaintiff’s deposit when the Plaintiff had decided not to buy a large rock crusher from the equipment dealer. The equipment dealer’s position was that the rock crusher was a special order item of equipment that it bought in reliance on the Plaintiff’s commitment to buy.
After a 2-week jury trial in Fresno Superior Court, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the equipment dealer client.
