The National Institute of Trial Lawyers was created as an invitation only collective, where the nation’s leading lawyers as well as up and coming legal talent could showcase their careers and skill sets. The independent Thomson Reuters lawyer rating service “Super Lawyers®” has published its 2023 Northern California Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. These two lists are comprised of outstanding attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Wanger Jones Helsley PC is proud to announce that nearly all Shareholders and Associates were again recognized in the annual listing.

While up to 5% of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5% are named to the Rising Stars list. Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented multiphase selection process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third-party research. The selection process for the Rising Stars list is the same as the Super Lawyers selection process, except the candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers Magazine and in leading city and regional magazines and newspapers across the country.
